KRIKOR MOMDJIAN
OXFORD ARMENIAN STUDIES ARTIST IN RESIDENCE

AROUND THE TABLE - UNDER THE POMEGRANATE TREE
ARMENIAN POETRY WORKSHOP

From Monday 28 April until Tuesday 6 May Krikor Momdjian will lead a two to two-and-a-half hour evening workshop where we will translate a selection of his Armenian poetry into English. Join us for any or all seven evenings –Monday to Friday and Monday & Tuesday- in the Seminar Room in the Samuel Johnson Building at Pembroke.

During 2014 and 2015 Krikor Momdjian will be Oxford Armenian Studies Artist in Residence. Krikor was born in Lebanon and has been living in the Netherlands since 1979. While in Oxford, he will give two public lectures, the data of which will be announced shortly. The first will be entitled Intercultural Relations between Image and Language, the second Uprooted.
