M.Phil. in Modern Jewish Studies

The M.Phil. in Modern Jewish Studies aims to allow students to do specialised study from a range of options relating to the modern Jewish world, to ensure a sufficient grasp of modern Hebrew or Yiddish to enable them to read both primary and secondary sources in these languages, and to teach methods of research and critical thought which will advance students' ability to write a substantial dissertation.
