Student Representatives

Undergraduate and Graduate Student Representatives

There are two Undergraduate Student Representatives and two Graduate Student Representatives at the Faculty of Oriental Studies who are current undergraduate and graduate students.  Their role is to represent student interests in the Faculty and liaise between the student body and Faculty.   The student representatives sit in the Undergraduate/Graduate Studies committees, the Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) and Faculty Board.  The JCC is set-up to discuss student matters and the agenda for the committee is driven by the student representatives who are asked to submit items for discussion.  If you have any issues you would like to raise about your course or life as a student at Oxford, you can raise them with the relevant student representatives using the emails below.  You can also continue to raise your issues with your college tutor, course director, tutors and the Faculty office.  For contact details, please refer to the relevant Faculty Handbooks, http://www.orinst.ox.ac.uk/administration/students/index.html.
