Taube Philanthropies/OCHJS Doctoral Scholarship in Hebrew and Jewish Studies

The Oxford Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies has been awarded a grant by Taube Philanthropies toward the Taube Family Doctoral Student Scholarship Fund. They invite applications for one full three-year scholarship for a doctoral candidate accepted for a DPhil degree at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the University of Oxford. The successful candidate will engage in research on any topic of Hebrew and Jewish Studies, but in the selection of the successful candidate a demonstration that the proposed project will make use of resources uniquely available in Oxford will be an advantage. The scholarship will cover course fees at the home/EU rate as well as their living expenses up to £12,000 per annum. Candidates apply on the Faculty of Oriental Studies graduate admissions website (https://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/graduate/courses/dphil-oriental-studies) before Friday 10 January 2020, 12:00 midday UK time. The shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview. Skype interviews are possible.
