Alain George, BSc LSE, MSt DPhil Oxf, Senior Lecturer in Islamic Art at the University of Edinburgh, has been appointed to the Ieoh Ming Pei Professorship of Islamic Art and Architecture in the Faculty of Oriental Studies. Professor George will take up the post with effect from 1 August 2017 and will be a fellow of Wolfson College.
