Kazakh Minister of Higher Education Signs MoU with Wolfson College and Oxford Birsöz Initiative

Last Thursday, many of our Faculty members were involved in a meeting with the Kazakh Minister of Higher Education who signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wolfson College and Oxford Birsöz Initiative. This MoU acts in support of and in parallel with the creation of a Central Asian and Turkic Studies Research Cluster at Wolfson. 

The event involved cross-disciplinary dialogue, including potential introduction of Kazakh language teaching, and other ways of supporting the study of Kazakh history and culture at the University of Oxford.
