Recognition for Members of the Faculty of Oriental Studies
On 11 May 2017, Oxford University Student Union held its annual Teaching Awards ceremony at Oxford Town Hall. Ulrike Roesler, Professor of Tibetan and Himalayan Studies, received the award for ‘Outstanding Supervisor in the Humanities’. Dr Emine Çakir and Dr Nadia Jamil were among five candidates shortlisted for the award for ‘Outstanding Tutor in the Humanities’. We congratulate these colleagues on their achievement and their outstanding contribution to teaching in the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
